Be a soul amid the thorns
Dangling off the unembraced
And in the course
Let them be taught
The sorrows of loss.

Far beyond the moon, stars,
And galaxies yet to be found
There resides a soul
As close to me as my own breath, flesh and hair
And lo, I do not exist
An illusion full of life
Never possessed.

Such wrenching the story of night would be
That it became the interpreter of Solitude.

To have loved you with all my might
Was my greatest blessedness
Here's a body torn apart.
With ink spilled all over
